Q : How long does it take for my shower enclosure to be delivered/installed?
A: It typically is a month long process with some exceptions, that starts with us coming to template the space, then providing pricing information and confirming hardware selections and specifics before the order is actually placed.
Q : Do we provide a warranty for shower enclosures?
A: We offer a 1 year service warranty, if you find you have any problems we will come back and address your concerns free of charge. Anything past that incurs a service fee, there are also separate warranties available depending on if you purchase certain glass upgrades.
Q: What are the options for types of glass for a shower enclosure?
A: There is a variety of glass options to select from, but it is mostly narrowed down depending on the type of enclosure you select. Frameless enclosures will generally utilize 3/8” thick standard clear tempered glass, 1/2” thick glass can also be used under certain circumstances when it is required. There is also Low Iron glass, which is a more clear/blue tinted glass as opposed to the standard green. Obscured glass is also available at an increased cost, most commonly for obscured glass you would see Acid Etched chosen which has a frosted look.
Q: What is ShowerGuard protective treatment?
A: ShowerGuard is a glass upgrade option that prevents the permanent build up of hard-water spots and soap scum. The treatment is baked into the glass at the factory and comes with a lifetime warranty that the glass will be able to be cleaned. Here is a link to their website.
Q: What is the difference between Clips or U-Channel for stationary Panels?
A: There are two methods for securing stationary panels, U-Channel is a low profile metal strip that runs along the stationary glass wherever it touches tile/stone. The Clips are individual brackets that give a more “frameless” look. Both styles are utilized on frameless enclosures. The Clips are a little more expensive, but both are secure and as watertight as the other, below you can see various showers installed with either option.
Q: How do I get the ball moving on my project?
A: On the front page of the website you can fill out our quote request form, uploading pictures and providing dimensions will allow us to get you a fairly accurate quote and then we continue correspondence from there.
